The Merriam-Webster dictionary defines beauty as “the quality or aggregate of qualities in a person or thing that gives pleasure to the senses or pleasurably exalts the mind or spirit.”
I like this definition, because contrary to what the media would like to have you believe; beauty isn’t necesirraly a flawless face, or perfectly proportioned physique. It’s qualities found in someone that excite our senses such as: a very motivated goal-oriented person, or a child filled with unconditional love for someone. Confucius perfectly defines beauty as, “Everything has beauty, but not everyone sees it. ”
